Dr. Kane

Dr. Kane grew up in New Jersey and moved to Southern California with his family during high school. He found his way to the SF Bay Area for medical school at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and subsequently completed his residency in internal medicine at Stanford University. Following residency, he worked at the San Francisco VA Medical Center as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF, serving as a primary care physician and co-director of the respiratory screening (COVID) clinic. He subsequently completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at Kaiser Permanente Northern California in San Francisco. He joined East Bay Center for Digestive Health (EBCDH) in 2024.

He lives in San Francisco with his wife, also a physician, whom he met in medical school. He is an avid runner, surfer and swimmer. He also enjoys hiking, cooking, skiing, craft coffee, exploring new restaurants and cafes in the Bay Area, and spending time with his family.
